Theme Parks in Central Florida
The reason to go to Central Florida is the Theme Parks. It all started with Walt Disney secretly buying up cow pastures to create Disney World, which is the size of a small city.
For families with school age children you can fly into Orlando, get transportation to one of the many Disney Resorts and never leave Disney for a week. You won’t need a car as Disney World has trams, boats, buses, and a monorail to take you everywhere.
But there is more to Central Florida than Disney. So if you want to venture out get a car and you won’t ever run out of things to do.

These are just the really big theme parks. You could spend several days at Disney alone. If you really hustle you can see the good stuff at Universal Studios or Disney MGM studios in a day but there are many rides that are so good you will want to repeat them.
