Orlando and the Central Florida area are all about entertainment. The area has amazing attractions that go beyond the big theme parks. Even these small attractions require reservations and advanced ticket purchase in many cases. But it’s worth it.
While you are in Central Florida you may consider venturing out into surrounding areas to visit spots like the Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach, or the Tampa / Clear water area where you can ride in an 80mph speed boat.

Seeing some of the attractions that are outside of the theme park area is a nice way to unwind. You get away from the big crowds of International Drive and see unique entertainment. A few smaller attractions to consider are the Orlando Science Center, The Air Force Space and Missile Center in Cape Canaveral, and Dinosaur World in Plant City.
